I am a senior double majoring in Computer Science and Biomathematics at Rutgers University, New Brunswick.

I'm really passionate about using computer algorithms and software development to model systems. I enjoy the power of creativity that comes from teamwork.




Here are some fun facts about me! up arrow

For fun, I love watching YouTube! I usually watch clips from movies and TV Shows, film theory videos, and comedy skits like SNL.

My favorite shows so far are The Big Bang Theory (TBBT), Squid Game, and Stranger Things! My favorite TBBT character is Sheldon and my favorite Squid Game character is Ali Abdul.

Regarding movies, I usually like Sci-Fi, Fantasy and comedy films. I really like Marvel! As per my favorite characters, they would probably be Iron Man, Spider Man, and Dr. Strange.

My favorite sports are swimming and badminton! I am not a professional but I do enjoy participating in them!

I like animals a lot! I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats, although unfortunately I never had a pet myself.

I love listening to music! I usually enjoy energetic songs, especially from the US and Bollywood. My favorite artists/bands are Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, BTS, and Justin Bieber.

I love making new friends and spending time with them! Always feel free to hit me up! :)

I was born in India and I am very appreciative of Indian culture and Hindu rituals!

I love programming and have created numerous projects in the past 7 years; these projects utilized Java, C, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. Currently, I am working on a project using ReactJS, Rust, and SQL!

I am an instructor for Data Structures (DS) at Rutgers! I work with DS professors help create rigorous assignments. I also help manage the 200+ DS students by responding to their doubts on Piazza.

I try to usually utilize LeetCode for around 3 hours weekly to improve my analytical and programming skills!

I am an expert problem-solver; I am an avid user and have solved 4000+ competitive math and science problems on Brilliant.org, a problem-solving platform for aspiring STEM students.

I was a research fellow for Pine Biotech, where I used machine learning tools such as PCA, DESeq2, and Clustering, and learned about Transcriptomics and Genomics in R.

I was a researcher in the Waksman Institute Summer Experience (WISE) at Rutgers, where I annotated and cropped DNA sequences and submitted them to NCBI.

I am the co-founder and was the Research Director of BioScience Collective (BSC), a student-led nonprofit organization. I helped students prepare for olympiads and obtain volunteer hours.

I have won many awards in various Science Competitions, including Science Olympiad, USA Biology Olympiad (USABO), and hackathons such as HackRU.

I love reading Biology-related content and have read 3000+ pages of graduate-level textbooks spanning Cell Biology, Plant Biology, Genetics, and Human Physiology.

I am the Tech Chair of Hindu Students Council (HSC) at Rutgers, an organization devoted to protecting and preserving Hindu Dharma and philosophies.
